ALEKSA KOROLIJA (postdoc fellow)

Born in Belgrade in 1987. Aleksa graduated in Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano in 2012 with a design-based Master thesis on the reclamation of the Ex-Gasometer area in Bovisa, Milan.

He holds a PhD in Architecture, Urban Design and Conservation of Housing and Landscape, after developing a research project focused on memorial landscapes in Eastern Europe with a focus on the works of architect Bogdan Bogdanović and on post-WWII architecture in former Yugoslavia.

Since 2012, he has been tutoring and teaching at the School of Civil Architecture of the Politecnico di Milano. Since 2015, he is a member of Serbia.

He has participated in international and local workshops, conferences and lectures in the field of Landscape and Urbanism.
