NORA LOMBARDINI

Associate professor of restoration at the Politecnico di Milano.

She taught architectural restoration of historic buildings and preservation of Cultural Heritage at Parma, Florence and Venice universities.

Her research focuses on the theory and history of restoration, analysis of the structural behaviour of the historic buildings, enhancement of archaeological sites and the implementation of the BIM methodology in field of cultural heritage, studies for the diagnosis of state of conservation of existing buildings and their reuse; studies on historic centres. She is involved in European projects (Tempus, Erasmus Mundus, Erasmus plus) for training at the university level. She has done workshops, developing project on archaeological area, in Italy, but also in Ukraine, Bulgaria and China, working with local universities.
